Applications are invited for the post in the Computer Centre, IIT Kanpur, in the Project titled "Institute Website 2025".

About the project: The work is related to the development of websites and databases.

Designation: Project Engineer (01)

Salary Range: 31600-2600-78400

The appointments are purely temporary and contractual, and the duration of the contract is one year.

Project Engineer:

Minimum Qualification & Post Qualification Experience:

M.Tech

Or

B.Tech/MSc/MCA + 3 years relevant experience.

Desirable: Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities, strong aptitude for decision-making and problem-solving. Ability to work independently as part of a web development team. Proven experience in developing websites using CMS platforms such as Joomla, Drupal, and WordPress, along with Bootstrap, PHP, GSAP, JavaScript, CSS, etc. Strong expertise in module/component development in Joomla and custom module and extension development in Drupal, including extension/plugin customization and integration. Working knowledge of photo-editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, etc.
